Yeah it pretty much just ruins it for the people who are really searching for boards.. then these threads come along and add 5 more bidders and in the end the winner gets ripped off.

No, it's been happening a lot, especially with 4-tracs. there are people who are fully dedicated to finding one for themselves and check the 'bay religiously. I understand it's life and the world of 'baying is petty and so small in the grand scheme of things, but then to have someone post about the board on here and have some random that probably isn't even that serious about it, then try and bid anyway...I think, sucks.

anyway, that was a rant. just read what tad said--I totally agree.
