i have searchd high and low for the truth and it almost like kampus never existed. they were coming out with the new Clint promodel with concave that loooked nuts they released it surf expo i think last year and everyone was stoked then we never heard about em again.

i loved my kampus flat clint pro model thing was so nice

clint still rides a beat up kampus, but i dont think there still a company...his main sponsor is no fear

Ah i rember when a store on ebay had like 10 clint pros for like 150 i should have bought every singe one of them

still have not ridden a board that had such a constiant pop something with the shape and
rocker that was amazing. and thing was so wide

Kampus, Cassette, (Omen?)

Why is it that the companies people seem to like the most always fail?

Slapdown, Unfortunately they are all REAL wakeskate companies that seem to fail. The market just isnt there yet for our sport. We are still in the crawling stage and any company that sets out just to make wakeskates has a chance of failing. With rising prices from wood to gas its difficult to predict what the market is going to do. Even though Cassette was like the best company ever they may have been just to far ahead of their time (in a popularity sense when it comes to the sport). What we need to do now is just keep skating and trying to show as many people as we can how fun the sport is and hopefully we will have alot more skaters and not have to worry about losing anymore good wakeskate companies. Luckily we have been progressing alot lately and hopefully people are taking notice and catching on that we arent just an off sport of wakeboarding anymore. Its alot harder for kids that arent as fortunate as sum to wakeskate. It isnt exactly a cheap sport. Like you can just take ur skateboard out and skate anywhere which attracts alot of people. If you dont have a pull you cant skate tho so we are limited to the people that get the fever like all of us did that are a little more fortunate that we can be apart of one of the funnest things in life. But with winching blowing up and skating starting to catch on I am hoping that we are gonna see alot of new skaters out there killing it and just plain having fun. Cuz thats the only important thing when it comes down to it.

i hope Oak, New, Sattelyte, and Integrity continue making their boards, they're all great companies that all make great skates and they seem to be doing pretty good, especially integrity; their skates sell abnormally fast.
