i think thats from a while ago because didnt aaron say that danny would be having an sst model and not him. The ml wakeskate is from a completley different brand (master line) that distributes liquidforce and obrien in Australia

reed will definitely be having an SST model. Originally aaron wasn't going to have one at all and it was going to be silas' thing, but once he rode it, he dug it.

goride, i havent gotten a chance to ride it. it took 3 weeks to finally get here.
that sucks you didnt make it to convergence, everything was perfect. make sure you come in spring.

it rides amazingly, but if they used the coarse threaded wood screws for yours too, i'd recomend you switch them over to regular standard or metric threaded screws.

tell us how you like it after you ride it.

Why does A. Reed have 2 pro models, you guys need to stop bitchin about the SST, it will probably go down in price and if not go cry about it. Wakeboard bindings can cost 400 dollars, 50 dollars more than the SST. Then you have to buy a board too.

I can see where your coming from, Bustamove. I got so fed up with the wakeboarding industry that I only buy a year old, or older wakeboarding gear. Now I've almost lost interested all together, since its hard to get a nice wake from a $25000 boat, not saying it cant be done. Wakeskating is so much cheaper in the essence that a nice wake isn't needed from a $65,000 gas inhaler. A 2,000 dollar winch or $5,000 jetski would be alot more budget friendly. And if a skate becomes out of your budget limit, don't buy it. Wait a year or two, then buy it at a discounted price. And you might like that discounted board better than a newer style of the same model. For example, my dad likes the looks of the C5 Corvettes, and doesn't like the looks of the C6. The C5 is remarkably cheaper. Although the C5 my not have some of the innovations as the C6, your still getting something you like.

Right now, the SST is out of my league, the NEW dub stix is not. So I would buy the Dub stix over the SST since I dont have the cash. The SST might be a better skate than the dub stix, but within a few years the 07 model will propably be $150-$200.
