..Orrrr just don't count every day you step foot on a wakeskate and add them up. Everything I do on a board helps me in some way with wakeskating and gives me new ideas on trying things. Snowboarding, skateboarding, trampboarding, surfing... all of it is progression to wakeskating.

jake heney, Making a formula to establish how long you have been riding for is like trying to bring a batting average to wakeskating.

NOBODY cares that much how long you have been riding, honestly. And that's not a personal thing. Either people are going to enjoy watching your riding in your video or they aren't, they aren't going to diss it because you have been riding 5.443 months longer than someone they know that can do the same trick, none of it matters.

Have fun riding and it'll show in your style, that's what I like to see.

che blanc, you are right wakeskating shouldnt be like that. I wasnt trying to make a formula. All I was saying was that since I had started in July of 2006 I have only been able to ride for 6 months of it. I wasnt trying to say that I started 6 months ago.

you are also correct saying that your riding should be a personal thing not trying to compete and do harder tricks in less time than everyone else. And like I said earlier I dont ride for that reason I ride because I love the sport and the good times with friends. I hope everyone understands now. From now on if I am ever asked how long I have rode for I will tell them "I started in July of 2006 but who cares anyway." Very Happy

mc.willz, bwackskater, I live in sydenham which is about 15 minutes from kingston. that is sydenham lake that I am riding on in most of the video

TAD, thank you. My dad built it. I tried to help a bit but I was 9 and couldnt lift anything more than a sheet of plywood which is why the only thing I did was helped with the sub floor. Laughing
