they are sick, and nobody else has them. they are pretty damn light, and they really only take on water in the tongue and a bit on the back of the ankle padding, but otherwise the mesh lets the water drain pretty well. hmm maybe i'll soak down my bro's byerlys and compare them to my shoes.
che blanc, physically bulky? is your friend on crack? they are significantly lighter than my es or dc's, and are even lighter than them when they are wet... _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

I've had them (DVS Mesh) for about two weeks and they are by far the best wakeskate shoes I've rode so far. They are alot lighter then any other wakeskate specific shoes I've ridden (ex. Byerly, epics) and drain fairly good. The problem I foresee is that the mesh is starting to "tear" off. It's mainly from kickflips I assume. _________________ .:Wake UP Films:.

Wrong...
Perfski just emailed me that they are selling the black/red mesh like crazy, and that they don't have my size anymore.

ok thats it. im gonna hunt down every last one of those bitches and kill them! what the hell are they doin buying my shoes! ok just kidding. well youre in switzerland so you will have a pretty good chance at having one of the few pairs to be sent overseas. as for my statement, i was speaking a bit more relatively because it seems that tons of people have the byerly shoes and until recently they have only had one color. i like the fact that i havent seen anyone else around here in california wearing them (yet). ive even had skate shop employees ask me where i got them because they never even heard of them before. oh well, we'll see what happens.
also check out www.eternalsnow.com thats the site i got them from. the smallest size they have is an 8 though. i dont know how big your feet are. not sure if they ship internationally though. _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

IMO, those aren't really 'different' cause in the "Abercrombie & Fitch" video the blond Hawaiian guy wears those...

I ordered the yellow and green ones from performance ski and surf.......they work really well in the water, super light. I've never ridden the byerly's but I'm more than pleased with the mesh dresdens. |

JankyZep, DVS's wakeskates shoes are classic skateboard shoes with mesh and less foam. It's that simple.
Other companies make wakeskating specific shoes, like Kampus, Phibius, 313, Reef and Epik.
But I really doubt that there's a difference between a mesh skateboard shoe and a specific wakeskate shoe...
