I was just wondering if anyone else had heard about the Cassette situation and their switching manufacturer's. One thing I've heard is they switched from the place that does Liquid Force. I also heard that they're in serious trouble because the first group of 04 decks off the line delaminated in water. That would be a serious finacial loss considering you can probably only produce boards by the thousands. This all might be hearsay but if anyone else has heard, or if I am just late with hearing the news(perhaps there is already a thread on this) let me know. I sure Thomas and the gang will bounce back though, they definitely have the support of the entire growing community.
One more side note, I love the money they're pumping into advertising, the ads are great and plentiful, makes for more interesting wake mags.

Well, I spoke to thomas not too long ago (and I didn't call his garage). From what I was told, the decks were supposed to be shipping very soon. I don't know what else to say because I don't want to dish out too much and get in trouble for it, but when I spoke to him thing were fine. But they did switch factories and they were working on the decks. Thomas did not want to ship out any boards that were sub-par because that would be more harmful in the long run (due to heresy and just word of mouth....you know the stink people put up when they saw some other dude's worn graphics). So that was one reason for the hold-up...

| I don't think that is a case of delamination, it looks more like the board has been roughed up by rails and rails. Also, I heard that they were trying to give all the good boards that came off the line to their pros, which makes sense. So Reed's board probably isn't faulty.

I want to know why they would give the good boards to the riders and not sell them to make some $$$.
The Pros are going to go through way more boards so just send them the seconds.
