hey guys, umm, ballast + trim = shape. i think what sea doo is doing is giving you the option of customizing/shaping your wake the way you want, not neccessarily trying to create the clean, smooth wake found behind a boat. it is definitely an interesting concept, although in my personal experience adding weight to a ski decreases its stability in addition to also decreasing its fuel economy. there are always a trade offs... _________________ .:Wake UP Films:.

Take the ballast tanks off....fill them with {alcoholic beverage of choice}....put on the ski.....ride until you're tired....then drink the ballast.
EXCELLENT!!!

| i wonder how it will hold speed.. They need to make some kind of speed control like perfect pass so it will hold and you can just pull the throttle the whole way then when you release it stops. With the Extra 200lbs of "ballast" im thinking it might get harder to hold |

i think that the easiest way to limit it is using the computer and the speedometer. allow the user to adjust a "max" speed, say 25 mph. then, the driver would pull the rider up to that speed and give it a little extra throttle, as the computer would then limit the rpms thus controlling the speed. just an idea.
call me old fashion, but i have the good ol perfect pass: good drivers! _________________ .:Wake UP Films:.

Ok, so that thing is an attachment, you can take it off.
Pretty cool, that little wake looks way fun.
I still can't wait til they have the key that you set the max speed with Doo it. _________________ √ |
