88skisupreme, they come from the same mold but they are not ALL the same...
the Doyle has a PBT base and top.... the PBT is what adds the extra weight...
wakeskate sml, the weight is not a major difference but if you hold the two up together you can tell the Doyle has more weight to it.... |

ScottyB, I would give the guys at perfski.com and buywake.com a ring or email.....
Unforunetly the pressing shop that was making the Doyles/Impalas has went out of buisness and wont be making the boards anymore..... So the boards that have been pressed as of now, will probably be the only ones made for awhile..... The company that is pressing all the wakeboards will be pressing the Doyle/Impalas for now on, but im not sure when they will be pressed again for this season..... |

| IceEsKate (sorry the reply might be ghetto it is from my phone) i dunno i was told that doyle use to ride for butter back in the day and liked the shape but modified it for his pro model. i could be wrong my info came at second hand at best. i have never looked at the doyle close enough to compare but there seem to be some similar design traits. it is hard to find skates out here period so i don't have a lot to compare it too just what i see online really. i would really like to ride that board that is why i was wondering if it was similar to the butter but i would want it heavier and wider but i like the pop of the butter |

| mcwake420, the butter does have good pop, but that is about it. The edges are really sharp and it is just too light for any kind of big tricks. With what everyone says about the doyle i am sure you won't be upset if you buy it. I am gonna go after the new Gator Pro. It looks sick! |

| IceEsKate, I just checked out Gator's site, and looked at the pro model. That thing looks dope, plus it is a size that fits me better. Let me know how that rides when you get it, i might have to pick one up. I just bought this years lf implues reed pro, but I just got hurt on my bike so i can't ride for atleast another month, if that even. but i do like that pro model shape |

I tried it yesterday, there is a slight difference, maybe 1/4 of a pound, 1/2 at the most. I just picked em up, havent thrown them on a scale, but the difference is not very noticable. |
