No More Maven Action!

Some may know the story that for Mother's Day Big I got Wakechick her Maven. Now, I know she sought out some of you and some posts for recommendations on a new skate for me, so thanks to ws.com and Wakechick!

This afternoon a new New custom skate showed up just in time for the weekend! From the original Scape we had, to Wakechick's Maven, this New is so different from them. It's amazing thus far and I cannot wait to get it wet! Check out the pics!

As much fun as riding the Maven was, I don't have to ride my Ol' Ladies skate anymore! Thanks Wakechick!

I love the look of the New's. That dark wood is beautiful. What options did you get? 3 Stage concave?

A BIG thanks to Robin for pulling this skate together. It is so well made and he LOVES the board. Can't wait for him to ride it...

nice wakeckick. i know it has been a long time deciding. good work. the shape looks like a liquid force controll from last year.. what model is that loc?

looks exactly like a butter board model that i have and bought on clearance for like $70, any connection to NEW?

All I can say is I am super stoked, I am new to skating and this deck is only going to help me progress. Within the first 15 minutes on it I took my first W2W on wakeskate ever, and it was huge, scared me as I was popped, wakeboard style. I cannot believe this skate. Shocked

Very very impressed.

t-Rex, I tried to call you right after I got into the boat, your phone was off though. It wasn't behind our VLX, it was a 247 wake was HUGE, just got bucked up there! I couldn't believe the skate went with me!
