Do those things actually bite people?

Just another creature of Florida that I now want to kill.

We just have Sturgeon here on the river, but they stay like 80+ ft under water.

This one was about 6-7 ft dead in front of Collin's house last week.

brdnioi, I am asking about the dog, not too many people have GSP's, if it was or is a GSP I was going to PM him and ask about the dog's temperament etc.

I have heard mixed things on them, while I really like them, some people have had problems.

I thought this thread was about animals? Question Idea

jacque_mehoff, GSP's are good dogs, my roomates parents have two of them, extremely hyper though and need a lot of attention and room to run outside.

I have a weimaraner... they are pretty much the same temperment.

SleuCrew, i have a yellow lab, we did not fix him, I can't imagine a dog need ing more exercise than him. he gets in a good 2 miles plus a day and is still ready for more.

My very close friend has a weimaraner, GREAT dogs as well.

You compare your dogs activity level the same as the GSP's?

Thanks

yea we go out on weekends on the St. Johns and shoot gar at night with bows. Hit em right in the spine and they just flop over dead but if you hit them in the tail or other parts, hang on bro!! You can kill as many as you want because they are a nusance fish and eat all the sport fish like bass. Gar can eat 10X its body weight a day so death to the ALLIGATOR GAR!!!!!!!!

jacque_mehoff, I would say they are almost identical, my dog is just over two years old, been fixed and he's still balls to the walls crazy for the most part. He's a great dog and super smart. Just hyper and has selective hearing at times.

I refer to my dog as being spastic at times.
