Yeah probably. Unless production gets done faster. It's usually around the middle of the summer when new boards come out. I would recommend buying that used one for $200. The board is sick. _________________ "It's like there's not enough pants where there need to be more pants." |

the revolt ('06) is amazing. $200 for it easy. but the new ones ('0 are gonna be cheaper... made of different materials. _________________

| tommy trice, i say you jump on that one for 200. im not sure how much will be diferent with the '08s, but with new materials there is a slight chance they might not be as durable. not saying they wont be durable just maybe not Quite as durable |

TYLER**, the guy who makes them is really strict about his product. he doesn't want to build garbage. one of the gripes that he got was that the p-tex rails were to dense and hard to re-shape, so he's goin with a different material. and there was a delay on the PBT top sheet (i think) so he was goin with a different supplier for that.
the '08 should be a solid board. but for now the '06 is TRIED AND TRUE. and a guaranteed solid board.
THEY ARE AMAZING _________________

ok, just to throw this out there about the revolt which i have myself, its an amazing board. if you havent herd, cuz i dont think this has been mentioned in a lonnnggggggg time, when they were finishing up testing the omen, right before it came out for sale, they shot it like some 120 times with a 9mm handgun, and not one bullet went through it, also ran it over a couple times. there was a video on here whenever that happened last yr. idk if its still on here, ill look. but just reminding everybody of when we all saw that and were in shock and awww, "the bulletproof wakeskate".
edit: found it, heres the thread ->
http://www.wakeskating.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10616&start=0
butttt the video link doesnt work anymore maybe they will fix it if they see it to show everybody how beast their boards are.

t-Rex, LiquidForce71, It's not even about whether or not it's worth the wait. I just think you need to cut these guys some slack, they make incredibly innovative products and really care about what they're doing. When deadlines are not met, it usually means something went wrong with a manufacturer/supplier/whatev. Chris and Schmaltz really put a lot into their companies, and i think downing them on deadlines is a little bit (not a lot, but still) disrespectful. You just have to understand that they aren't to blame, and mistakes happen. _________________ - Evan Molina |

well, nobody said they weren't worth the wait. He said they aren't hot when they come to deadlines. And quite frankly, it happens to everyone. The impulses were super late, the SST was due in june or july, the legacy had delays and....well, you get the picture. shizzle happens (or is happening) to everyone. Some just end up in more unfortunate situations than others, especially when all they count on are wakeskates. _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |
