Distortion 07?

on the site it says coming 2007 coming soon, has any one heard anything alittle more definitive? also, what do you think about the 06's costing 280? worth it or no?

where are the boards actually available for purchase?

I don't think they're really going to do the board thing right now. My understanding is that they're really trying to push the grinch sector of distortion because they really believe in pushing and melding all of the boardsports, and there seems to be a lot of potential there...that's why it's distortion boarding co. and not just distortion wakeskating or whatever.

so i shouldnt hold my breathe waiting for an 07. i found some at extremeoutdoorsupply.com, i think was the site, is 280 a good price on those or not so much

you know, I really can't say if you should buy it or not--it's a choice you have to make. All I can say is those boards were designed to be durable, and I'm pretty sure that most of them were a wood core design with a pbt top and bottom, and I don't remember what the rails are made of. I think some of headhunter's prototypes might have had some sort of ptex base as well but I'm not really certain. I don't know how they ride because the only people I've ever met who've ridden a distortion were team riders.

Do you know what model it is?

they have flat ones, and the concave, ithink they are pearl, grizzly, tunnel vision there might be some others

the 06 prototypes were real good boards. as soon as adam isn't so busy with grinch, i'm sure he will start focusing on boards.

yeah pearl is with the eye, i like wood core with the PBT or what ever it is base, shapable rails, and pretty much every thing ive heard about it, i hope this site is for real that selling it, and not just an out of date site

I was on the team for 2yrs or something, never got boards in any manner other than once in a while and the were all protypes that broke. U would think a company this lil wouldn't just drop riders with out saying anything but they haven't returned phone calls about me trying to PAY for a winch, their cartainly not gna give me any boards. I would go with a company that actually sells boards and can have boards to give to their team riders. Its all talk and comin soon with that camp

Nothing shady ever happen from adam the owner dude, that just alotta b/s that over, his boards just never went the way he wanted and I got the blunt end of the deal with that, shizzle happens and adam still is out there trying so my hats off to that

kento911, this is seriously nothing to even bring up, I had a guy supporting my riding that I stood up for, if he's aliar, I'm no longer with that company and no longer care. I rarely post anymore and to have this brought up again is rediculous, his boards aren't even selling cause he has none, that it.
