t-Rex, hey man i have so much respect for you.... and i love your beliefs

even though i dont share them... its so alien to me how someone can listen to music and break down crying... and without anykind of thought is completly sure without a doubt that jesus is god ... that kinda jump/conclusion just dosnt strike with me...

im very glad that you have decided to leave a good life... but dont know why you couldnt have done that without religion.... i think religion is great for some people... but not mandatory to lead a good life... i am by no means a christian but still strive every day to live the best life i can and create/build as many bridges as i can with my fellow beings...

btw christianity saved my uncles life... and without it he prolly wouldnt be alive right now... and i thank jesus for that, but than again i know an atheist who house complete strangers to get them out of the cold... who donates more time to charity and helping others than most christians do to prayer (including meals Wink

) ... and even though this person is the most whole and wise and giving person i know she still gets spat on by people on the street (exaggerated)... and still gets evil and scared looks by strangers when told what her religion is(not exaggerated)... how fair is that? many nights she has cryed to me on the phone because her religious parents refuse to speak to her since she decided to "denounce her upbringing and her religion".... ahhhhhhh ... i just hate the stereotype that atheists are evil and "godless"... and christians are wholesome and just...

(im sorry i just went off on a rant... my friend who i am talking about just called me tonite in tears Sad

and i hope no one was offended by my rant... and by no means am i saying i think any of you would treat anyone with that kinda disrespect....)

im serious when i say you can stay in my camper for a few days ... (thats all i can offer because its not my house its my parents... but a few days is enough for them to get to know you and for you to suck up enough to stay longer if you like Wink

deltarider, I used to live in Brentwood, CA and grew up in Walnut Creek. I rode the delta all the time, launched out of Orowood. My dad and friend live in Disco Bay. Will be coming back to NorCal in September for a friends wedding. Hoping to get a few delta sessions in when I'm there.
