jordan, HAHAHAHAHA
I purposely put it in the back of my xterra and didn't even look back at it till i was safely parked at work.
but i'm stoked to ride the new armada. but like i told shawk, i'm gonna ride it like shawk designed it, and give an honest open minded review.
but already it's generated a TON of interest at work... now everyone wants me to take them out on the boat so they can try it. _________________

t-Rex, I think they are making a gripped traction pad so you can cover up the velcro with grip, but take it off and still use the system. _________________

edrex, Did you guys hear about those wakeskates that comes with bindings?
It's really kewl, your feet are totally attached to the skate so it doesnt come off.
They even have a closed toe binding model to look like a skate shoe!

i just got an email from shawk... your right. i'm stoked to ride the armada!! and it's already sparked a bunch of interest with my friends who don't skate but still wanna come play on the water.... this product is actually pretty cool for the non hardcore skaters....
but the shawk binding system isn't really that great for hardcore skaters. _________________

edrex, BRO! You get all this kewl hardware, and you can screw these BIG CLUNKY shoes right on the deck. It's amazing.
And depending on the shoes, you might even need this goo called slime (nice and greeen) to get you feet into the shoe/ bindings.
I am telling you, once you are attached to the skate, it makes riding so much easier.
My kickflips are beach with the shoes being attached, but I guess I will figure it out!

jacque_mehoff,
wait, so your telling me that they have designed wakeskates that are so advanced that you actually BOLT your shoes, "bindings", to the board? NO WAY, i don't believe it
are the wakeskates the same size? or are they bigger? _________________

t-Rex, I think they come in different sizes, I was soooo amazed I didnt know what to do.
They even have boards, bindings, vest and boardshorts that all match. Kinda like http://www.garanimals.com/.

yeah i got my interchangeable skate grip today
so i have a choice between foam grip and skate grip
i'll see which i like better
right now i think im probably leaning more toward the foam, but who knows _________________ http://www.stickandflick.com
