Sex wax ???

I have built my own wakeskate and I am trying to decide what to put on the top. I previously build one and put grip tape on it and it was great but I don't really want to put it on this one. I built it out of russian birch and the top is awsome looking. I am considering sex wax. Does anyone have experience with the sex wax? I prefer to ride barefoot.

I put sex wax on an old wakeboard when a pair of boots broke, pretty fun, but really messy and not as much fun. But if you really like riding barefoot, you can argue with the surf feel. GO FOR IT!

tyson, its either wax or clear griptape.. i dont see any other options.. post some pics i want to see this bad boy!

Clear grip tap??? Where can you get this? That could be a great solution. I will post pics tonight.

it's not hard to get. jessup makes clear grip. just check with your local skateshop

tyson, search around on this forum... i can't remember where it is, but i remember reading about a company that does it.... it's not grip tape "by definition" but it's a clear epoxy resin with sand mixed in..... or something like that.

Ive got clear grip on my skate. You can put stickers and what not under it. Its pretty sweet. Not sure who makes it though.

I used this on my homemade wakeskate when I was still riding it barefoot!
It is Rust Oleum 2410 Anti-slip Transparent Aerosol its a spray can easy as can be, but I don't know if that is a brand they carry in the US....but maybe you can look for something similar....it is very transparent and not as rough as grip tape

the clear grip "turns" a little whiteish though...But stick it on propper:)
