|
|
Hey guys. I have a buddy that is about 6'-8" and 290 lbs. He mainly wakeboards but I am trying to get him hooked on skating. He has the biggest Catalyst they make and it works fine when he is riding barefooted. I have told him he needs to start riding is shoes if he really wants to take it serious and start progressing. He tried it last night but with shoes on, his feet hang off board a bit. I really think for his size the board is not big enough anyway. I remember Alliance Wake had a blurb about some company making custom sized wakeskates but I can't find it and I don't remember who the company was. Do you guys know of this company or do you have a better board recommendation for me? Thanks. |

I got to try a new yesterday. It had the "step rail" and it was a 41" 3 stage. But yeah, even the 41" is WIDE AS FVCK. It could easily have a guy with a size 12 or so shoe on there without any complaints about width. (I like that it made it really easy to spot your landing.) The concave is reeeally mellow which can be good or bad, depending on what you like. _________________ - Evan Molina |

I finally built my own board after wrestling too small boards and griptaped childrens wakeboards.....because I am a big guy 2m(6"7') and 155kg(350lbs) with shoe size 16US I wasn't able to ride normal boards the proper way....but now with my: 120(47") 45(17,7") wide with 35(13,8") tails it's the best.....I can finally cut hard, deepwater start and pop higher ollies then ever.
It is made out of 5 layers of ply with a 1 layer fiberglassed bottom and a celrubber(neoprene) deck that grips like hell!!

that board MUST be the world's biggest wakeskate... look at his avatar pic!!!
bottom line, the bigger you are, the bigger the wakeskate _________________ ripped riders yah? |

I think other people can ride it with the two of them......the board is 1,20m I am 2 meters tall!! It is the best ride, I tried smaller skates before, but my feet just stick over the edge and get washed away when you edge out, that never happens anymore.... _________________ Never winch in shallow water.... |

apple103, right on man. I have size 13's and they just barely fit on all of my wakeskates.. I cant imagine trying to ride most normal skates with a size16.. water would rip you off the board on almost every trick. sweet board man _________________ integrity-wake.com | chriscut.com |

whitleci, go to newwakeskates.com and e-mail robin. he can make annysize board you desire.
i'm sporting some size 12's and my 43 bigfoot model has room to move. the board is also super thick and glassed on top.We ride w2w fully loaded in a super air trying to break them. They break us! _________________ www.newwakeskates.com
