Just got back from seeing it as well.

The only thing that could have made tonight better would be seeing it twice.

just got back, its like 3 here. god, that movie was so sweet, so many epic battles, and the soundtrack was perfect for all the scenes and moments. that was well worth my poossible 3 hrs of sleep. SUPERB!!

I'm a fan of the Pirates movies, but this IMO was the worst of the 3... I had really high expectations for it though, so maybe that was it.

I think they could have made the movie about an hour shorter... and cleaned up the plot, I normally like a complex plot, but this was a little over the top.

The ending was good though and finally tied everything together, it's still a must see for any Pirates fan and I'll have to watch it again when it comes out on dvd

WOW. I think it topped the first two... or at least is just as good as the first one. I'd give it a 125.7/10

Also for the record i think it beat the shizzle out of 300. Twisted Evil

ScottyB, i havent seen the movie so i dont know how who gets married but i still plan on upholding my promise about your bachelor party.

so many nods and subtle tributes towards other genres too...the western face-off-ish type part on that little strip of land inbetween the two fleets was pretty badass and the music was so perfect.

first one will always be my favorite but that was some serious movie magic

The best parts were Keith Richards and Jack Sparrow's Phychotic mind. In general, I thought that it was too long and convoluted.

I did like the fact that they tried to address whether Jack masterminds his plans or just goes with the flow. For me, that's what makes him a likable character. You don't know if he's a genius or just lucky -- or both. I did also love the line....."Ya...and I did all that without a drop of rum".
