Yeah, how does it hold up to the bar? Has somebody finally cracked the code of the Cassette? Their bi-level is the grand poobah of all wakeskates.

I've held one and checked it out a bit. The bottom deck is compression molded and it's really thick, the edges are kinda on the sharper side, so my guess is it rides a little higher than the cassette. The top deck seemed to be a tad less flexible than the '05 Cassettes (never felt an '06), but the concave and kicktails were nice. I'm pretty sure i remember it having some small channels, nothing that will effect the ride too much. It was kind of hard to see what the "trucks" were like. The top and bottom deck weren't very spaced out, but concave made up for it. It weighed a little bit less than i remember the Union. My guess would be somewhere around 11 lbs.
Keep in mind, though, this is just my prediction of how it would ride after seeing it and feeling it a little. I didn't get to ride it or anything, although i'd like to try one out
It will be kinda hard to find people who rode both the '06 and '07 decks i would think. People who rode the '06's didn't seem to like the board at all and most likely wouldn't exactly be first up to want to try the new ones. I don't remember knowing of many people who had even seen them around...

nice Slapdown, is the gator stronger that a cassette, and does anybody have trouble with breaking bi-levels anymore, like the cassettes.

I have the 07...and here we go...
Rides lower than you would imagine...
The channels are not very noticeable, and a fin is definitely recommended though, otherwise it's way too loose.
The "trucks" are much simpler than the cassette. All they are is two rubber washers on each end, with a long bolt going straight through the top deck into an insert in the bottom deck.
It weighs 10.2 lbs.
It feels like you're riding a skateboard. You can actually flick off the nose.

so do the top decks of these break, and is there a way to buy new top decks, does it feel like the old cassette bi-levels, and does your feel hang off of the edges.

I bet dis' board doesn't have bi-level like snap, like you would think. I just don't see any room for the top deck to get that snap that helps "spring" the board up. Looks like it has great concave and skateboard like feel. I am just guessing, but it probably isn't too much different that the Legacy's. I think that too get the full use of a bi-level design, you should have that snap from the tail flexing and increasing the pressure at the lever point... I really don't know though, so I don't mean to knock it without having tried it yet...
