help with camera

my camera doesnt work it was working 2 nights ago. im so pissed off, every time i insert a tape iit says "PLEASE REINSERT THE CASSETTE" and i dont know what to do, i have no money to get it repaired so i gotta figure it out on my own, has this happened to anyone else?

please help.

try a different tape? .. try one of those cleaning tapes.. take some duster to the bad boy..

VinceWhiteman, Is it a Sony? That happened to my sony before i killed the thing. Umm... i just reinserted the cassette like a THOUSAND times because i was aggrivated and eventually it just worked. You may need to get the heads cleaned... definitely run a cleaning tape through.

There are Canon ZR850's on the Apple store for like $320 and ZR800's for $220 if you are in the market for a new cam.

Slapdown, ive been reinserting it for almost an hour now, and i tried running my cleaning tape thru and while it was doin its thang it stopped and said to remove it like usual.
