Yes, it was pretty close though. The thing that got De La Hoya was that his punches didn't connect, and Maymeather had a great defence. And since there were no knockdowns, the whole fight was all about points. So, based on points and punch stats, Mayweather won. I still don't think it was a big enough margin for Mayweather to be the undissputed champ. I'm hopin that Mayweather opts for a rematch and if he wins that then he can hopefully retire undefeated and undissputed.
