Why do you skate?

I wakeskate cause of the feeling, but if i am not wakeskating the feeling just being around a lake with your friends is just the best cause you have things in commen and they are the people you want to be around.

its my passion, its my high in life and i just love it i do anything to ride and just be free on the water its like nothin else matters in the world its just you your board and the water and its just to much fun! and the people you ride with and the people you meet

cause its just soo much fun...and when u land something for the first time u get soo stoked and your buds are too if not more.. if a certain sport can make u forget everything else thats going on in your life, then thats something worth your time Very Happy

its pretty much the only sport i have been interested in, and just being at the lake with all your buds is just kick ass.

i wakeskate because im really to much of a pansy to commit suicide. i wakeskate in gator infested waters hoping that i just kinda get offed one day.

It's the feeling i get when im wakeskating. Its like im in a different world. nothing else matters. every burden, every problem, every thought, just disapears.

the people too. alot of my close friends i met through wakeskating. i have more fun with wakeskaters than i do anyone else. the sickest most chill people ever.

because skateboarding beat my ankle up.

my leg then said :
" hey look over there, its a calm lake with people surfing on the water. we should go check it out. i heard theres bigger air, faster speeds, and glorious crashes. We should go check it out."

damn, my ankle WAS right.

so i did what i had to do.
bought a flat brimmed pin striped hat, some surf shorts, grew out the finest trimmed beard i could muster,scored the biggest sunglasses i could find, some flipflops, a couple gold teeth and a couple weeks later i was wakeskating.

but really. i think its seeing someone i dont know ride for the first time in person, seeing there style and how its different and unique. Its kind of there language. wakeskating gives me the perfect channel/connection to the stuff in life I love most.

its the only sport that i enjoy the practice. Ive tried tons of sports from soccer to water polo and i remember the thought of practice was a bummer. Its just fun all the time. ive never complained about having to ride.

and landing a new trick is far more exhilarating than scoring a goal which so many others have done or can do. its the unique aspect of the sport that makes it special.

i liek very much this wake-a-skating. Laughing

because it's what I do. it's what I need. everyday of my life has been incredibly different since the first day I wakeskated. I would compare it to snowboarding the years I lived in the Rockies but I just can't. it's unreal how I feel when I am in the water. whether it be 6 in the morning or 6 at night or one of the great days where I can go at noon, it's the greatest feeling ever. my mind can't be taken away from each moment, it doesn't even matter whether I'm up on top of the glass or in the water waiting to be pulled up, I am experiencing pure bliss the entire time.

I think the best feeling is when you are getting up out of the water to start the first set of the day off. Nothing beats that feeling when you look down at your board and say, "Ok b!tch it's just you and me now."

wakeskating is where I can release, ...... Not trying to impress anyone just out to have a grand ol time and chill with peeps that share the love for sport as i do... I have never seen so many people fall and be laughing there ass off in any other sport out there.... just a good vibe all around
