Has anybody rode the triump, and tell me if they are good, and if you know of other better shoes tell me.

triumph--it's the shoe I"m currently riding. It's mad light, mad steezy and I'd probably say mad sweet, too. One thing that's nice about this mesh shoe is that it has mesh where you need it, and then some other synthetic material where you don't.

For drying, I've always liked to put my shoes in front of a fan to avoid mad stink. Even though this one has mesh, I still put it in front of a fan to avoid that mad stink. But let me tell you, this shoe dries mad fast. I used to skate in "skate" shoes, like dills and prophits (painted like team edition kenyans). Those didn't dry mad fast. But they felt mad tight (as in steezy).

Anyway, I'd recommend them. Watch for a byerly review in the near future. I haven't skated in them, I've simply worn them in the streets to attract some looks. (and that they do!) The outsole feels a tad stiffer, but they're also mad light (and mine are mad white, like gangsta white). So yeah, I brush the dirt off my shoulders when I wear them.

actually, that's really funny. Yesterday I wore a dry suit that was a size large, and I was like, oh, I don't know...MAD gangsta, but maybe even glam hip-hop, too. It was like missy misdemeanor elliot in that garbage bag outfit, and MC hammer with his "parachute" pants where the crotch goes down to your knees.

Let me just end this by saying that it's no coincidence that Knees rhymes with "steeze." So you know the drysuit was bad (but bad is in good). Peace!

You seemed to use the word 'mad' far too many times in these posts, so I thought I would go through the trouble of using a thesaurus to give you a plethora of choices to use in place of 'mad' the next time around.

Main Entry: mad
Part of Speech: adjective 1
Definition: crazy
Synonyms: aberrant, absurd, bananas*, batty, bonkers, crackers, crazed, cuckoo*, daft, delirious, demented, deranged, distracted, fantastic, foolhardy, foolish, frantic, frenetic, frenzied, illogical, imprudent, insane, invalid, irrational, kooky*, loony*, ludicrous, lunatic, mental, nonsensical, nuts*, nutty*, preposterous, psychotic, rabid, raving, screwy, senseless, unbalanced, unhinged, unreasonable, unsafe, unsound, unstable, wacky*, whacko

Now I expect to see some more variety in you posts.

I like slip-ons. Nothing yells "I don't give a crap" like having no laces on your shoes.

Emericas have a cool elastic strap that go over the top of your foot in the tongue area, keeps em snug and comfy.

in my opinion, DVS and Lakais are like, nutty* big.

El, I feel like you really do give a crap if you're trying to make a statement with your shoes not having laces and subsequently trying to show that you "don't give a crap." Wink

Greg T, it is my opinion that you can never use the word "mad" too many times in any situation. But perhaps this shizzle will be bananas, b-a-n-a-n-a-s!!!! (next time, i mean.) I tried using your new words...but they're all wrong...so wrong. I can't say, "I don't give a nutty crap" or "I don't give a batty crap, it's my body, I'll do what i want!" Maybe it's just my upbringing...but mad takes the cake.

But you will say "I don't give a mad crap."? That does not sound right, but maybe it is just my upbringing.

greg t, given the circumstances, I just might. There are times when I'd probably end that sentence with "yo" as well.

What can I say, it's just how I was raised.

But I will say that this thread has gone batty*!

Go slip-ons! The basic feel really translates well into wakeskating for me. Drainage isn't really an issue either, because there's nothing but a layer of canvas to soak up the water.
