When you fall on the skate, how often do you land wrong on the board? I don't mean feet position, I mean do you ever take a shot to the nuts because you came down with one leg on each side of the board? Do you ever get hit in the head with them or anything like that?
I know anything is possible, but just in regular (beginner style) riding, how bad can the falls be?

edrex, the worst is when your back foot misses the tail and you're legs are forced apart like some kind of chinese sex torture.. and those can happen on a simple shuv.. but yes people hit their heads with the board as well.. usually going w2w. i think i land on the board or have it hit me in the shins everytime i go riding..if you don't come in from a set with blood then you weren't riding.. or you're George Daniels.

last season I was doing a wake to wake and I got about 3\4 of the way across and the board got out from my feet and flipped halfway over and the side of the board hit my shin and cut it do the bone....very nasty...i also busted my board~ all in all bad day>>

edrex, My first year boarding, I attempted a w2w 3 to impress the boys on a dare and I smoked my entire face on the back of my board. Needless to say, I didn't try that one for a long time....hah.

I've hit the water so hard before and my nuts took all the impact. It felt like they were on FIRE for like 5 minutes. Its probably the most annoying pain I've ever felt. I had to check after that one. Happened to my buddy yesterday.

nopulseimpulse, a year and a half a go i was strapped in and took a pretty good digger and my balls hurt so bad that i didn't realize i broke my ankle. Everyone in the boat was laughing at me which made it that much worse.
