I got a few questions about Liquid Force decks and Cassette
1. When will the Cassette 2004 be available? They arent on buywake
2. How are the LF concaves? Light? Heavy?
3. Are all the 2004 Cassettes blems? I've heard they were really messed up. |

LakeErie, hey man... the new LF concaves are very light compared to other concaves... the tech 42 is heaver than the regular concaves becuase its made to be sliden alot so its alittle more heavy detuy.... If your looking for a cheap, light skate go with the 41 or the 40 or 43... Im going to ride the 40 when i get some $ its got a really nice shape |

The Pavement 3.6, I got my board and shoes from board-paradise.com. They are a good company to deal with, orders came before they said they were going to and good customer service.
I tried lookin at the new cassettes on the site but it only came up as a blank page...I wander if they are just doin work on the site. _________________ "I do not fear death. I grasp it by both hands and edge hard" |

That's not true dude!
Are you advertising or are you trying to give some advice?
1. As far as I know, the lightest concaves are the HL.
2. The LF concaves are not "new" because "LF 04 = Cassette 03". Right?
I had a Cassette concave 03 and now I have a LF concave 04. It's the same board. The only difference I noticed is the durability, maybe due to a better LF glue, epoxy or whatever. And I would even say that for this reason the LF 04 are heavier than the Cassettes 03. I don't know about the Cassettes 04 though.
And BTW: Parky, isn't your LF 04 a repainted Cassette 02?

| actually your all wrong the new tech 42's are really light they are a lot thinner than the other decks and i dont know about the sliding thing parky, thats not true i'm not trying to put you down you just heard wrong information. but yeah i would go with a new tech 42 its such a sick board, it seriously has like the perfect lightness that makes kick flipping it easier and its not too light that you cant feel it when you ride it like the foam boards. and with the other decks they are all good too just i like the tech becuase it is a-symetrical. |

| I think lighter is worse. Why would you want the board to fly away like a leaf everytime you try something? |

The Liquid Force Tech 42 is lighter then the '03 4-trac. I would say the LF have better paint, glue, and epoxy, especially since Cassette seems to be having problems. _________________ .:Wake UP Films:.

I have a 2004 LF Concave 43 and I totally dig it. But unfortunately I am going to have to point out that it is noticeably much heavier than the 2003 Cassette concave decks. I am not really sure why this occurs, they look identicle. Though it is heavier the ride doesn't seem compromised in any way. I just picked up the LF deck for the foam. _________________ death before dishonor.

| I'm on the tech 42" right now. I love the way the board rides and the weight doesn't seem bad either. I put an extra coat of paint to make it a little heavier, but it still isn't as heavy as Reeds board was when I picked his up. My friend broke his in 2 days but it looked like a different pressing(much thinner profile than mine) and could have been a factory second because he got it from one of LFs pros. There were a few people who rode it the two days and we only hit rails on it the second day. I have had mine for a week or two and I think that it is starting to delam already(starting to see shifting between a couple plys and a litle seperation). What else are you going to ride, seems like all the boards you would like to ride don't really exist in a production capacity. |

| I think it was a factory second LF tech 42", the tail snaped off in 2 days. The production one I bought at performance doesn't seem to be fairing much better, delaming after 2 weeks. I even tried to stay off rails for a week to see if it would snap, but now it has been on em a bunch. |
