Hey,

Whats the difference between non-carbon handles that are stiffies, Anti-Roll,etc... like the 2007 Premier, 2007 Straightline ARI wake handles, etc...

Versus

The tubing style handle, like the 2005-06 Straightline B2i handles, 2006-07 Byerly Handle etc...

Does the anti-roll feature really make a difference? Does the handle really bend and roll on you screwing up handle passes? Just wondering cause I have always had the tube style handles, and wanted to know if the anti-roll styles ones are worth it, or do anything? And I don't have the chance to try one out.

Haha kind of a long and confusing post but whatever. Very Happy

Ronin, I've become a huge fan of the Helium handles, one of the features they don't market but I'm in love with is the fact that you can fall and put your arm completely through the handle and it slides right off. Anyone who has ever had the horrible experience of putting their arm through a handle well tell you that it is one of the most painful things in the world. One of the main reasons I refuse to ride with any of the carbon handles.

As far as the anti roll handle its a great difference from the older straight like stuff, one of my pet peeves is a handle that rolls in my hand, its not a big deal but it bugs the hell out of me. I don't really know how much difference it really makes during handle passes cause I've never noticed the difference because I always focus on the handle pass and not what the handle is doing.

I would say definitely check out the Helium stuff its really nice and not horribly expensive.

urinal mint, How does it slide out? I'm guessing you mean how does it not hang up when you put your arm through it.

I'm not really sure, I think it just has to do with the shape and the size of the frame. next time your at a shop pick one up and stick your arm through it and pull on the rope different ways. I just noticed it one day when I fell and was OH chickity china the chinese chicken this gonna hurt and it popped right off. Thats what actually turned my attention to it not hanging up.

SleuCrew, Helium ftw. I love their vests as well. I never take mine off (it feels better than riding vestless Shocked )

urinal mint, I use last years green TCH 15'' with a T bar..... I absolutly love the grip, there are a few different models that have different style grips (harder, grip shape) that I didn't like personally... but what I have is perfect for my senstive baby soft lanky hands Laughing

If you are interested in Helium I suggest any of the TCH handles....

I have this set-up for sale, both handle and rope are niiice. Just have extra stuff, so I don't need this set-up.

Accurate A-line. I would like to get $85 for the rope, it is still in the package. This sells for $122 at Buywake. Here is the link, but mine is red. http://www.buywake.com/catalog/detail/HY_U9eif

I do have a handle that is still in great condition. It is a Helium / Nevin Osmosis 15", carbon fiber. It is from like '04 I think, but I only used it a few times. This thing sell for $110 but I will let it go for $50. Here is a link, but the one I have has more yellow in it. http://www.buywake.com/catalog/detail/NE_NwLRo

I will let this combo go for $120, and I will pay for shipping in the US.

Hmm I'm still stuck on the choice between the old B2i handles or the new ARI ones. Just not sure if its really that big of a deal, and you can pick up new b2i handles on close out for amazing prices.

The HL "anti roll" handles still roll a tiny bit. The A.R.I handles seem to be super stiff and really light, too. I'd check them both out in a shop if possible. Personally, I really like what SL is doing this year.

Yeah,

I'm leaning towards the SL handles not sure if I want a featherlight or the wake handle with the floats.
