its all preference in what you are looking to get out of a board. Not one signal board is better than the next, but some boards are better in different categories than others.

price.dan, should I go with grip tape or that bubble foam stuff first?

I am about 6'4 and weigh about 145.

jacque mehoff, since you're starting this post, I'm just going to point you towards a 45 inch foam concave from CWB. Have fun. Very Happy

electricsnow, Will that deck work in both salt and fresh water?

Whatever happen to the IL WI wakeskate fest?

Those picks you posted in in old skhool were great. That one house looked exactly like suburban chicago.

Flashbacks.

HAHAHAH...I ride the flask more than my wakeskate. I suck at life!

Open up the buyer's guide. Lay it flat on the ground. Find a dart. Close your eyes, and let it drop. Where it lands = your new deck!!!!

all of the above mentioned companies make good boards, so you'll be good regardless of which ever you choose.

jacque_mehoff
grip it with bubble wrap. That way you can make the cool popping noises while you shred.

Should I put the bubble wrap on top of the grip tape so that my POP is louder?

jacque_mehoff, I heard that Byerly is going to put foam grip on ironing boards for mid-season release. They will have the sickest skulls and 420 graffix, and will be in the $800 price point range. The first pressing of 1,000 units is already sold, but you can preorder one from the second batch of 2,500 if you act NOW. The people at Wakeworld are giving it five stars, even though the first batch has not shipped yet.

The Bug, WOW!

420 Graffix as well!

And at 800 that is a great deal.

Is there a site to order from? I just checked out the Byerly site and it didn't show the deck.

Do they have any matching board shorts to go along with it?

No, but they will have a long sleeve rash guard that looks like all of his tats. That will retail for $250. Rumor is he is working on a bi-level model refrigerator door for the big fellas as well. Many industry insiders are predicting this will be the wakeskate of the year. Wakeworld.com is securing exclusive sales rights to all the ground breaking new designs as we speak.

jacque_mehoff, yes you should check out Wake(CWB)world because it is the bestest website ever in the history of the world. My favorite part is when the rednecks post pics of their half naked fatty wives and girlfriends (where is the puking emoticon?).

DirtyCracker, or is it?
