Once the weather gets a little nicer i will b out on my local bay and want to do a lot of wakeskating this season. my friend has a board that he is happy to share. Can nebody kind of tell me a list of things/tricks i should learn how to do in order like starting with sumthing easy and then working my way up. i do not know where to get started. im going to ride behind a 21 ft boat with not tower. |

| It's all what you want to do. If you wanna try a kickflip for starters it's gonna be hard. But ollie's, surfface spins and all are good starters. Make sure you have a good feeling with your board before you try tricks. |

if i decide to get my own board what would be a good choice. im six foot 150 lbs. i prefer the grippyness of griptape over foam and am more intrested in skate style and wake style. i wanna learn to do sum of the easier flip tricks by the end of a season such as like shuuv its and stuff which wont be as hard for me to learn cause i skateboard. i realize im probably going to get people to tell me to get an integrity but that is a little pricy compared to other board such as an oak...iv looked at the oak moondog and lifetrap. if it helps my shoe size is 11. ne suggestions will be appreciated
sorry my spelling sux |

your best bet is to try as many boards as possible. and the integrity isnt for everyone, especially when you consider the fact that you are primarily looking for a board to learn on. the integs are very high end and for riders that generally hit stuff other than the water and stress the boards a lot more.
the oaks are solid decks and if you've tried one and really dig and feel comfortable on it, then go for it. other good beginner decks that i would recommend include sattelyte, distortion, kampus, the list goes on and on.
one board that i do think would suit you very well is the timmy K model from GatorBoards. its a wide concave plenty big enough for size 11s, wooden with awesome pop and killer construction.
compression decks usually last longer (as a general rule, though not always the case), but if you skateboard, then a wood deck might have that pop and snap that you're looking for.
just dont forget that you're out there to have fun. _________________ R.I.P. JT- we all know you're slayshin up above, smack the lip off a cloud for us!
And there's no way anybody is going to see a manatee, then say calmly " Hey look, a manatee." Those are some scary lookin motherfckers.

| i would say go with the oak but i would get a solid foundation of board control and ollies before moving onto anything else... just my opinion because i tried going on more advanced tricks and got stuck and had to go back to the basics before moving on. |
