Your board goes flying....

It is SOOOO much easier to do tricks on something like that because there is no forward momentum messing with your center of gravity. You are basically in an inert reference frame (inertia). Connecting tricks is a breeze.

That machine is cool as hell, but it will only help your riding in the same way that a trampoline or carpet boarding does.

either way, leave it to the Euros to design something cool.

when u fall ur board goes into a net in the back if u dont catch it urself. u can stand if u crash though and just get back on ur board. it still looks really fun and i'd like to try it someday. its like a flowrider for wakeskating.

im actually building a ghetto version here in jax... im still working on designing the best shape and size but my first calculations come out to be about 5500-6000 gpm.... thats a shitload of water to pump but i think i can get it to work utilizing the shape of the box, multiple nozzels... and slightly slanting it downward to let gravity give me an edge

i had that idea except using the back end of a boat and like having a curved back end of the box from top to bottom like "c" and so the water would be pushed back to the boat to suck it back up and be a continuous thing but the whole thing would actually have a wake and shizzle, ive been dreaming about it forever Sad having a big indoor complex with like 4 or 5 of the things i want to make that all the boats have towers or whatever. i could use boat engine/propeller combo thing to create a boat wake or a jetski engine/propeller combo thing to create a jetski wake. i would like have a variety and everything be just as if you were really out on a lake but to have something 80ft long you would need to figure out how to get all the water from where its being sucked up and pushing out the wake back to the intake grate or w/e in a continuous motion that is user friendly.... idk but theres alot of variables that you would have to deal with like if you fall how do you stop it, unless you have someone controlling everything for you but id rather have it as a rider worked machine, and how to keep your board from gettting knocked aaround, or you getting knocked around, starting and stopping, keeping the water in motion, keeping it clean water, etc etc yes alot of variables and alot of money involved. but that would be a sweet indoor complex for winter skating, then expand to have like 10 complexs all over the nation Very Happy yes it is a dream, but oh well, it was worth talking about. ha

yeah man, gas water pumps, you can do it!

O-->_________ ...|
^^^^^^^^^^^^|
----------------------

Here is a very legit diagram, O = the pump, the | is a dealy that stops the water and forces it back into the lower pool and the pump just keeps taking the water from the lower pool. clearly ^^^^^= water and --> is where the water is pumping.
