Skate252, Skate decks allow you to do more than wakeskates, and are more fun on the tramp.
Trampskating is addictive, I've been doin it for like 4 years and I feel the urge to do it all the time _________________ √ |

Ever since I crossed over, a skate deck feels like a toothpick. So I like it way better with a phat ol wakeskate under my feet, and since I wakeskate mostly; I figure it helps me a lot more on a wakeskate.
It may be easier on a skateboard, but I already feel like superman with a wakeskate ............so I reccomend a wakeskate. I guess it depends what yopu want to be good at.
The other day when the wife was away, I moved the couches and set it up in the living room of our home It was nightime and I called my freinds for a sick indoor tramp sesh. Then she called and said she was coming home early we busted that bitchh down in less than 10.
Anyway......a longer rope makes it more realistic............as well as tieing the rope to something that moves a little................like instead of tieing it to a tree trunk............try a branch or a younger tree.
Another thing you want to set up is an anti tramp device............like a pull up bar I hung from two trees. You know all that tramping ain't gonna make you any taller.........so this allows your spine to relax and satretch back out. Have fun with it man..............it's so fun hitting tricks you can't/want to hit on the water. _________________ dbanana wrote:

hey Skate252, i have a tramp for now 3 years, and it really helps.
i'd say go on it with a wakeskate, and try kickflips, varials...
I figured out that when you attempt those tricks on a tramp, you get use to te rotation of the board and get to know when to catch it. the best way to make any new trick is to practice it on water, but when it gets colder, a tramp migth be a good thing.
hopefully, i'll get to land on water all the tricks I land on a tramp, but I don't think i will, I landed varial double kickflips, heelflips... and on water, I'm still working on that kickflip haha _________________ -Muskoka Woods sport resort- |

It's really weird goin back and forth from skate deck to wakeskate, every time I switch it takes me an hour or so to adjust.
I occasionally use a wakeskate just to get comfortable with certain foot positions and to perfect my flicks but I agree with nick, I find the skate deck more fun. |

I like the way when I cut hard on my boat it gives me some slack, it gives me an extra second or two throw my tricks slow motown baby> I just try and reenact this by using something a little less fixed then say a telephone pole........I ain't talking about a flimsy branch......I have my rope tied to a strong branch on a pine tree, it gives me close to the same feel of my boat. Savvy. _________________ dbanana wrote:
