Anyone snowboard there? I'm heading up this weekend and I've never been. Where's a good place to rent some gear? Any good bars around there?

I was there a couple weeks ago and it was alright , it had long lines but i had a lot more fun at app ski mountain about 40 min from there they have a pretty fun board park there, and boone has a few bar just ask any of the students and they're tell you more

i went a few years ago and their terrain park was weak.. i guess it depends how much snow they have there right now but the east coast has been sucking lately so im sure there isnt a lot.. you're better off buying a used set up offline.. you get ripped off with rental fee's man..

bjr, why not? bring a SCREW DRIVER

sugar is alright. i dunno if they have enough snow or not. head up to the top and load the lift at the mid loading area...dont go to the bottom...ever

I was just up there and saw a kid fall off the Yellow lift, It was gnarly.

Yea, we went there and it wasn't pretty. Very slushy, very icy. Our cabin was sweet and we fully stocked the bar for new years! That made up for the ice.

i was there monday and sugar had some big grass pathces.try to make it to app if possible,the park is fun.

yeah, Sugar is full on Ice, Grass Patches, and Doo-Doo snow.
