Can someone please give me a lowdown on fins.......sizes, shapes, how many, etc. I notice lots of people ride without them, but what do all the different combinations offer?
thanks |

it depends on the kinda board you have. but anyway for a wkeskate small fins are always best and usually just one for tech stuf and two for w-w |

hmm if ur into the fin thing on a wakeskate i would go with a longer small one or even a regular lenght reallt small one. Just enough to haull ass into the wake. But you dont realy want em for lip tricks cause they get in the way. Some people just ride with one fin so they can alternate shizzle around. I did that for awhile but it gets anooying if u cant always flip your board around. _________________ oh great now i have ink all over the screen |

yeah it shouldnt take long to get the feel but if ur just starting leave the fins on so u can understand how your board work first. Than when u get going a little you can start experimenting and decide what u like. The plus to a catalyst i guess is it has like molded channels so you dont have to worry about taking em off to soon. _________________ oh great now i have ink all over the screen |

good plan, im just trying to lear to do it all finless. I wish they woudl just make the catalyst heavier then it would be perfect. _________________ oh great now i have ink all over the screen |

Do you guys actually take your fins on and off?
That seems a little ridiculous to me, I ride with 2 pretty small fins that I grinded down and I have no problem doing lipslides or shuvits or anything (I assume that's what you mean by "tech"), and it's perfect for wake to wake too. |
