.. forrest is tuff and can take a beating but i think ortiz would take him again... obviously chuck liddel is the baddest light heavyweight out there and will be for a while, he's already rocked Tito.. i think a big name you will start hearing will be Bisping's...he's if any of you watched the last season, you know he has talent..

PIRATE....I'm so pissed that I'm only now finding out you're into the UFC. We coulda had some UFC conversations whilest you were out this way.

by the way, Tito already beat Forrest and looks like Tito vs. Chuck will be happening by the end of the year!!

and PIRATE...it is usually against my better judgement to agree with you Laughing

but you are correct, sir...Franklin is tops. There are probably only one or two fighters anywhere on this planet that I might think could beat him. The guy is smart, fast, strong, and nobody trains like he does.

lake tarpon....I absolutely cannot wait to see Bisping fight again. He is supposed to also be fighting again before the end of the year. That guy has mad skillz too. And I love the accent.

Glad to see there are a few mma fans here....I won't be so disinclined to start UFC threads when we are near fight time....

We need to get some of these fighters out on a wakeskate SOON!!

NotSoBueno, i AGREE that there might be 1 or 2 dudes that might be able to beat him, BUT i think he is stilll the BEST FIGHTER hands down. Seriously NO one wants to step to Franklin, He's got such a good attitude, and FOrrest i meen DUDe I love forest just casue he's tough and He LOVES to Fight more then anyone else in the UFC.

I wish i could see tito vs Forrest was it a good Fight, Chuch is GOing to whoop Tito's ass AGAIN.

PIRATE, the tito/forrest fight was a pretty good fight, it went into decision so I would like to see them go at it again..

PIRATE.....the Tito/Forrest fight was pretty good, kinda depends on what you believe tho....supposedly Tito had a bum knee going in. Tito DOMINATED the first round completely, putting Forrest on his back and keeping him there for at least 4 minutes. Second and Third rounds, rumors say Tito's knee was really bothering him and he was unable to take Forrest down, so both rounds were more kickboxing, with Forrest doing enough to make the decision a very close one. I'm sure at some point next year we will see a rematch.

The Light Heavyweight division is getting a bit stronger...we already have Chuck, Tito, and Forrest. Add to the mix Rashad Evans and soon Michael Bisping and we have some great matchups for the future.

I just hope that the Ortiz / Shamrock is another quick fight so we can see some of the (better) undercard fights on the bill. Here's what we're looking at for October 10th:

Tito Ortiz / Ken Shamrock
Kendall Grove / Chris Price
Ed Hermann / Jason MacDonald
Seth Petruzelli / Matt Hamill

Undercards:
Nate Marquardt / tba
Tony DeSouza / Dustin Hazelett
Rory Singer / Josh Haynes
Thiago Alves / John Alessio
Marcus Davis / Forrest Petz

Nate Marquardt is probably one of the next in line to fight Franklin, so His fight should be shown, although I don't know why he is on an undercard of a freebie event. The Alves / Alessio fight is more worthy of being on the main card than most of the main card fights....BUT I just like good fights, doesn't really matter who the fighters are.

Bob Sapp was so huge in Japan while I was living there. It was crazy. He's not that great of a fighter at all, marketers just love him.
