| my 210 has an awesome wake. but it is pretty similiar to the vlx (im not saying exactly the same), you can make them both about the same. remember though, almost any boat can have a big wake but what makes these boats different is the quality and shape. they are really steep and rampy. but i think the reason for buying a boat should be more on reliability and how well built it is and i dont think thats been addressed at all, weird. luckily both are very well built. in my MANY years of boating experience, i would say i had better times with CC built im sure it could be said both ways. |

211:
+ good for intermediate riders, mellow wake that has kind of a round lip
+ good overall quality
+ nice, good looking boat
+ you can adjust the shape of the wake
- mellow wake for advanced riders
- not suited for many passangers
- the position of the seating
- the plastic interior
210 team edition:
+ good for advanced riders, really steep wake with a nice lip.
+ good overall quality
+ nice appearence
+ the extras of the team edition (subwoofer etc)
- the wake usually gets too steep if you weight it much (short transition)
- the number of seats
- too narrow in my opinion (not much space to put all your gear)
- the plastic interior
VLX:
+ the wake (best in the market! A looong transition with a crazy lip!)
+ the overall quality
+ more "luxurious" interior than many other brands
+ the Power wedge (so you can adjust the shape of the wake)
+ the roomy interior
+ seating capacity
- maybe it could be cheaper? (but then you could always buy the vRide...)
Note. All of the above are MY personal opinions..... _________________ _____________________________

| I got a 2006 v-ride w/ the standard wedge and 500lbs of mid-ship ballast and it rocks. Its a really nice and big wake. for the most part malibu's are hand made wich is a plus and the quality is great, |

DON'T TAKE A VOTE. go visit your local Malibu and Nautique dealerships and see what they have to offer. take each boat out on a demo and see how each handles, sounds, rides, stores your crap, etc. dont rely on the internet to make the decision.
but the fact that youre looking at a 211 and a vlx means to me that youre still a bit confused as to either what youre looking for in a boat, or what models youre looking for from each manufacturer. but if you're really honestly only considering the crossover 211 and the wakeboard-specific vlx, then i would go with the vlx without even thinking twice. _________________ facebook.com/TheLiquidPlayground

ok malibu vlx's pretty much own if u ask me but ive never ridden the 211 so i cant say anything but its probably a great ride but i the malibu would be better cause u can ride it no ballast 5 people and a full tank of gas and the wake be sick so u dont really need to way down the vlx to make the wake nice |

I never put wieght in my vlx for skating. I think its sick stock...
Now if I could just invent some kinda submerged debri warning system I would be set. I've spent more on prop repairs this year then anything else other then gas..... and I still have 2 to get fixed |

EPIC
http://www.epicboats.com/
the boat has 4000lbs of ballast, dual rudders, 8.1L volvo, the wake will kill even a 220 or vlx
they just came out and are retailing for like 60k new but they are definately the shizzle. they turn like a goddamn jetski and get pretty good gas milage. plus they people are really cool to deal with. |
