which company do you prefer?

I would say Devotid. I love the Union. I havn't rode an Omen, but Christian is a great guy from what I know. Keep an eye out for what Kevin has in store for 2007.

the union is a nice board but its a bi level so u might want to try out the movement ive heard good things. i also am lookin forward to see what kevin does in 2007 i have heard good things

both ride differently. the movements got a real solid and snappy pop.
...and the revolt is sick too. cant go wrong with either skate

In what context, they layout totally different products (even though they are both 5-stage) Kinda can't compare without a more focused question, too broad...

it is pretty hard to compare these new companys. they are different in everyway. except for the fact that both the dudes who started the companys put their lives into this shizzle.
i think the companys are really too new to compare to anyone.
all you could say is you have cutting edge composite vs. a true good wood company.
can't lose either way, really.

i have a revolt and a union love em both. the union rules as bilevel and the omen is the hottest comp board i ever rode. u really can't go wrong with either one. both companies are the bomb cause dudes that love the sport own the companies so support either itz all good

I skate the revolt and this last weekend i got to try a Union which i was pretty excited about. The revolt has a very unique feel to it, different from anything i have ever ridden, and it's hard to compare with anythign else. With the Union it's easy to say the top deck felt very much like a big skateboard, and the board as a whole felt more like a skateboard than any other deck i had ridden. I loved that, the 5 stage teams up perfect with a bilevel top. Skate feel at it's finest.

I like the shape of the Revolt more, it just feels more natural in terms of the rocker and concave, it has a lot of "flow" to it i guess you could say. Also the Union is 16 POUNDS. Hard to get around, but popping it high enough wasn't difficult.

With either board you're gonna have a sick deck, the omen MIGHT last a little longer considering construction, but devotid has got pure wood construction dialed.

If you skateboard, and don't mind a heavy deck, the Union is more for you. But the Omen has a decent skate feel, just more flowing, and it's lighter.

I personally wouldn't pick a board on the opinions of other people because that all they are OPINIONS. I would suggest to pick the board that stands out most in your mind. P.S I rock with the revolt and love it
