I don't get what trick is an "in-to-out shove, back-foot late flip", by david hansen.
ok... I guess they are 2 diferent tricks and the first one would be a fs to bs shuv (or bs to fs)?
if its all in one trick it would be a fs to bs shuv to late back foot k flip? I honestly canīt picture that!!!
What makes more sense to me a line... 2 trick in a sequence, but then I still don't get the first one.
Also I belive nick taylor should've been nominated for the best trick
(i don't see anyone else doin' 3 flips, though it was firstly done last year, am I wrigth?)...
Among the nominees my vote for best wakeskater goes to BT. I just canīt vote for best trick cuz I guess it would only make sense after seeing'em on video... _________________ CONCAVE co.

BRAZIL-CONCAVEwakeskates,
I saw it doen in person sunday. It's such a nice looking trick.
As for best trick out there.. I don't really know. There's so many new things people are landing. I saw Nick do about 9 things sunday I would nominate for a best trick. |

PIRATE,
I totaly agree... thats why there's no point on voting for best trick without seeing'em on video _________________ CONCAVE co.

fyi nick's tre flip was nominated LAST year. Also, I think aaron reed won trick of the year last year with his wake to wake backside big spin, if that means anything to anyone.
people who were allowed to vote for the awards had the opportunity to suggest other tricks that might qualify for "trick of the year." not everyone hangs out on a message board or rides with some of "these" names every weekend. In order to, at the very least, be CONSIDERED for a nomination, you have to get that trick out there.
personally, I think the judges have a really tough decision ahead of them. I myself have debated back and forth in my head, as to what i think the trick of the year would be, and I always go back and forth. a back tail is monumental...like I'd say six years in the making, at least, and I also like reed's 270 shuv, front board (or bigspin front board, as it's called on there), and a heelflip is one of those other tricks that were thought to be impossible. But then to have the consistency to kickflip onto a box, or whatever it was that reed H. did, and even walton's gapped kickflip at the hippodrome. but I agree wtih all of you--the best way to be able to make this decision is to see the video.
Remember: "This award is for the single most impressive, sickest, innovative and progressive move pulled all year..." _________________ *The opinions expressed are on my behalf and not those of wakeskating.com* |

| I wish I lived in Florida. I love it here in BC, but a year round season, being able to ride with so many other guys, even pros. In BC there's probably 5 good wakeskaters and it's hard to hookup. I've never even seen a kickflip in person. |
