has anyone ever been to the wakeboardcamp for the week for instruction? going soon i can't wait...

It was one of the most fun weeks i've ever had.

what was your week like? lots of riding time? did your riding improve after camp?

Yeah man, by Wed. morning half of the guys didn't get up for the morning session because they were too sore/tired. So you get plenty of time. Three half-hour sets a day. There's also a trip to O-Dub if you want to do that for part of a day. I definately saw improvement in my riding. (Honestly it was the most progression I'd get in a year becasue I didn't own a boat at the time and only got to ride once in a while.) All the coaches are cool dudes as well. You'll definately get everything out if it that you were looking for.

ISN'T that the hansens camp or is that the one that Aaron used to work at....

the hansen's camp is the world wakeboard center. And aaron will still coach at the wakeboard camp on special request.

It's a really good camp! Don't worry that you won't get enough time on the water, your muscles will tell you to quit before Aaron Reed does. Aaron is a really good coach, just sing some Bright Eyes songs with him in the boat and he will get in his best mood. Some of the wakeboarding guys are really good wakeskating coaches as well. Even if they can't land the trick themselves (which they surprisingly often can), they will know allt the theoretics (?) behind it. Oh, and if you come with them to O-dub they won't be able to give you much coaching there, so you might as well go there on your own in the weekend after the camp.

But all in all, a great wakeskating experience. Have fun!

jim daily, Oh, I don't even want to tell you this but they were too big! So I had to give them to my boyfriend so know he's walking around the appartment wearing them and it makes me maaaad. Jim would probably have been kind enough to send me another pair, but they didn't have any left of the size I should have gotten in the first place. I felt really stupid but when I compared the velcro 9's were about one size bigger than my boyfriends dresden 9's... Have fun at TWC!
