I have rode my fare share of boards, and I rode my friends gator boards impalla is one if the best boards I have rode. It is a little lite but I got use to it in about 5 minutes. It has a lot of pop and it has good concave, the outline of the board is amazing, and the beveled edges are like a wood board's. The foam top is also amazing and I hate foam. The kick tails are huge and they are amazing.
So if you want a good foam board get this one it is amazing, I give it 5 out of 5 |

i'm pretty sure i would love it if it was twice as heavy....had one and just couldn't make it happen, i think the main difference between composite boards and wood is the ability to really STICK your tricks (to me at least). the impalla felt so light that even when i landed something it felt like i was gonna fall. i couldn't get that stomp that i can on a wood board. just a preference. _________________

this may sound stupid but I have fiberglassed skim boards and it added a good but of weight and it is totaly clear, so if you like that board a lot and it is just to light you could fiberglass it. I am fiberglassing my flexy 03 cassette 41 cause i want to see if it will help the board be stiffer. It would totaly work on a new board. _________________ l_o/------------------------<l |

| Scott Boysen snapped his lean in half after a month of riding it, he only hit rails on it like 5 times, he was practicing w2w for wakestock and it snapped right in half so hes told me. |
