|
|
My boyfriend and I are moving to Japan this fall (yeah, I know, it's crazy) and we're kinda looking for places to ride and people to ride with. We'll be living in Furokawa close to Sendai. Any info on wakeskating in Japan would be helpful... like, are there any cables? Do people ride after boats? How expensive is it? Is the scene big? Which are the best places to ride? etc etc...
Thanks folks!

dietwater5, thanks, it's home-made and works just fine... But actually I've gone back to riding my old 4-track. There's just no other board that I like as much. But I've painted it pink, of course...

soy escuala, Oh yeah, so I get it... duh...
You're Ryan Lemons and it's that stupid guy Fredrik who taught you to say that stupid stuff. I should break his index finger the next time I see him. And he's a sissy cause he didn't come riding today cause he was with his parents in their summer house. He's such a geeky mummy's boy you wouldn't believe it. I bet he didn't even tell you what that stuff means that you're writing, or he told you that it means something nice or whatever. But trust me, that's not a good way to pick up swedish girls or whatever he has told you.

naa... if i wanted to pick up swedish chicks i'd walk up to them confidently, point at them and say "titta en fien heck!" and then i'd suggest they "sug mein kuk en beil sluena" or maybe i'll demand it.. and they'd reply with a simple "yol finhelveter!"
works every time!

I'm not too sure about that... but I guess it all depends on the pronounciation...

devotid, Oh, that's so nice of you! Just tell him not to hook my bf up with any japanese girls while I'm not there... No, but seriously, that would be great! We sent an e-mail the other day to some japanese wakeskating pro called "Yoda".
And hey, Yamaha is japanese, right?

So, what happened? You get there ok? How's the people and riding. I'm moving to Atsugi this winter and will be around for at least 3 years. I'm looking for people to ride with.
