<rant> I fvking hate my ex girlfriend. We broke up last September and I found out today that she's still talking sht about me behind my back. It's not that I'm worried about my reputation with my friends back home, honestly, I've moved on from my entire home town, I'm having the time of my life in college and don't give two shts about what those people thing. But it's just annoying. Why can't people just drop things and move on. What a whore <rant> |

I'm diiiiiiiiizzzzzzzy with anticipation for the new Bis. I've been bumpin into walls all day and I looked like this and then some cops were like, "DRUGIEEEEEEEEEEE, BUST HIS PUNKASS" then I was like, "huh huh huh huh huh huh" from running and then the cops were like, "There's a black guy smoking crack, BUST...HIS...AAAAAAAASSSSSSSSS!!!" but the guy he was simply feasting on a tasty burger and I ex-scaped safely and I looked like this _________________ I like to choke when my team needs me the most, no Romo. |

1. This is my favorite thread ever.
2. Sorry if this gets a little long-winded.
3. I want to give a big thanks to wakeskating (and wakeskating.com for connecting me to riders everywhere). I was just thinking about how much the sport has influenced and continues to influence my life every day. There is an entire culture to it that people who aren't involved don't even realize exists. Everything from the photos I take, to the music I listen to, the sketches i draw(although kind of ulgy) and even sometimes the way I think is affected by wakeskating.
Sfumato gave me the Postal Service, still some of my favorite music to this day. I've also learned to appreciate hip-hop and ambient chill music through wakesports. Now it's not uncommon to find me blasting some Aesop Rock or Sigur Ros (who is probably one of my top 3 favorite bands ever) before getting out on the water.
Wakeskating has definatley expanded my horizons on what I know I can do as well. I've always had this odd confidence problem, but with wakeskating I'm not worried about it. Everyone I've met in the sport is awesome, it's one of the few sports you can meet the people you read about in magazines and see in videos and just hang out with them. I'd like to see basketball or football have anything remotely like that. Everyone is willing to help you, nobody is in this to be better than another person, they just enjoy themselves and hopefully it will stay that way. (Granted, we have our little squabbles about what deck is better, what company we're currently touching ourselves to, etc. but...) You don't have to be at any certain level of riding to be considered a true wakeskater, it's just where you want to be.
A lot of this extra confidence translates to off water activities for me as well. Simple things like meeting new people isn't much of a task for me anymore. I've had a lot of trouble with that in the past and now it's relatively easy for me. I just basically see myself as a better person because of this sport. That sounds a bit ridiculous but it's the first thing that I've been able to stick with for more than a few months and still enjoy as much as the first day I tried it. Finding something you love that much really is a life changing experience.
I found my group (which I've never fit into any my entire life) and it is incredible.
But there is one thing I know for a fact:
I am a wakeskater. |

freerider4, no so much loose.....its a really wierd feeling, not always pain but a wierd sort of weakness i guess but i can walk on it fine and put pressure straight down but it hurts to straighten and put pressure on it if im like squating down and if i turn me leg sideways i can barely support the weight of it.....if that makes sense
yeah one sentence.....suck it im in pain |
