| yeah i think this may be true cause whenever someone leaves the tv on and its on a black screen like one of the aux chanels i can always here this high pitched ringing and my parents have no idea that the tv is still on. |

i can hear it but i dont think it is loud enough for me to recognize my phone is ringing... theres no way i would have that as a ring tone

Yeah, I don't think I'd be able to hear that with a lot of background noise etc...maybe in a lecture room with just the prof talking, but that would be it.
