I am sure a lot of people on this site work out. So spill your routine here. Personally i just decided to start like yesterday and don't know how to get the best results. I have heard from a reliable source ( Rolling Eyes ) that it's best to work different muscles every day, instead of just doing a general work out. Anyways what are all you guys' routines?

Slapdown, they were correct, it is best to work out different muscles each day. however, if youre only working out 1-2 times a week, you can do the same workout every day, but the main thing is you dont want to work out a group of muscles, and then the next day do the same group again. the best thing to do is run on a treadmill or something similar (swimming, bike, whatever) for like 20 minutes to get your heart rate up, and then start lifting weights. cardiovascular is fine to do everyday. are you looking to get big bulky muscles, or lean defined muscles? for big bulky muscles (think the tough man competitions on espn) you want to do less reps of heavy weights (3 sets of 10 reps or so with a lot of weight), and for lean defined muscles try to eat lean and healthy, and do a lot of reps with lighter weights (3 or 4 sets of 15-20 reps), doing a longer cardiovascular workout will help out with this as well.

as far as which way you want to go, it depends on your current build (are you skinny and lanky, "normal" sized, or do you got some chub?) of course there are other parts of working out, i just mostly know about lifting weights and eating healthy. if you would like some tips on eating healthy too let me know. my dad was a workout/health freak lol.

i do 3 sets of 8-8-max and im lifting roughly 80% of my P.M? if that makes sense?

a good way to build muscle is to start off your workout with a leg press and a bench press, it gets the hormones flowin in ur body and help build muslce waay quicker.

Jesse, you remind me of Mr. Rocky Balboa. But he used chickens instead of midgets.

RedXIII is right, eat less food more often. if you feel hungry, make some toast or have a small salad just to hold you over. no sodas! sugar is bad, if you dont burn it off it turns into fat. try to stay away from white bread, potatoes, etc, instead eat wheat type stuff. basically any carbs that is white in color is bad, brown/tan carbs are good (such as wheat bread) (one is a simple carb, one is a complex, cant remember which is which). eat more vegetables and fruit. the best vegetables are green. broccolli, lettuce, peas, green beans, etc. things like coloflower arent bad for you by any means, theyre just not as good as greens. eat an apple in the morning instead of coffee (the natural sugars help wake you up). caffiene is very bad for you as well. obviously any drugs (including nicotine)/abuse of alcohol is bad. excessive drinking of milk isnt very good for you either. the very best thing for you to drink is water (i know its hard to just drink water). if you must drink sodas (like myself, im literally addicted to sodas) try to only drink diet (still bad for you, but not loaded with sugars, i always have people telling me i look skinnier since i started drinking diet). gatorade, powerade, energy drinks, and all those other "non soda" drinks are just as bad if not worse for you. also, EAT MORE FRUITS AND VEGETABLES!!!! meats are fine to eat, as long as thats not all you live off. chicken, fish, turkey, stuff like that is more lean than beef.

calories are good to keep an eye out for, but you also need to look at sugars and carbs. they will always turn into fat if you dont burn it off. thats why the adkins diet works so well, you basically get rid of carbs (which is the foundation of the food paramid). its also the most retarded concept in the world IMO. you get rid of the thing youre supposed to have most of. dont ever cut anything completely out of your diet (except salt and sugar, you can always get enough of those from other foods), its all about moderation and eating the correct amount. you NEED carbs, just dont over do it. carbs are what gives you most of your energy. try this, next time you go wakeskate eat a big pasta dinner the night before and you'll find you have more stamina/energy while riding.

He punched cows (frozen, dead ones) but then mick made rocky chase a chicken around for foot speed. It's making do without technology!! It's totally back to the future styled training--how did rocky defeat Mr. T? How did rocky defeat that russian monster? (you know, besidings through having the eye of the tiger.)

Bro, "I must break you."

Do you know what's funny? I was so down for rocky that I have the boxed set on vhs and the rocky IV soundtrack on CD.
