soy escuala, no reply? can u not read very well, are u not as smart as u let people think on here? do u not like when some1 who knows who u really are and the way u really act, calls you out?
you have done this for as long as can remember and it always starts out with people on ur side and then u get pissed of and say fvck it, so please just say fvck it now and leave us again

but yeah seriously no one thinks that deep about their board when theyre riding it, o and everyone here cares about WAKESKATING not the boards that let us wakeskate u say make wakeskating better then talk about the goddamn boards when i think of wakeskating i think of when im riding pulling off that new trick and all the comps i think the board that allows you to wakeskate is irrelevant to the concept.

ryan has a good scratch of the surface... it's a good general idea.. but top hat was right regarding the number of wakeskaters... then you have the number of ROCs... there a lots of them.. so telling everyone not to buy LF and HYPE is fine.. but telling us, starting here is a bit redundant.. we all understand the method to ryans madness (so to speak) but you gotta take it from there to everyone you know that might even wanna know about wakeskating.. then explain the difference between the big companies and the ROCs... the first time i saw a wakeskate it was a hyperlite.. the first wakeskate i ever bought was a cassette. i did that because as fate would have it... i found wakeskating.com and learned about ROCs and asked a bunch of questions and sounded like a newbie dumbaZZ.... and now i do my best to explain to people on almost a daily basis wakeskating and this weekend when a few friends i have not seen in a long time arrived.. well they had one.. it was a hyperlite grubb model.. i didn't slam him for having it... i was glad he had a skate.. then pulled the heartbreaker out and now he wants one.... the concave, the grip tape.. he'd never seen a skate that wasn't foam.... so he was an easy "sell" then at dinner and a zillion drinks.. i babbled about the whole rider owned thing and when your telling someone you will talk w/ the owner asap... that's a grand canyon of a leap from what goes down w/ a LF or hype.. i think it's more of a start local thing.... the INT stuff is huge for us spreading the word... do what you can but i think the barstools built for dreamers syndrome there... stop talking about it and go do it...

This seems a bit over-dramatic if you ask me.

Pretty much everyone and their mom has said things like this in the past, why re-invent the wheel.

Anyone who has read over these boards understands that Rider-Owned comps are the way to go... but...

That isn't going to stop Joe-nobody from going to the local shop and picking up a LF or HL, right?

IMHO, relax and appreciate that HL and LF put skates on the water.

...and if you're going to support rider owned, don't limit it to the boards alone it just makes you look like an arrogant hypocrite.

Jonesie, why would u support some1 so ignorant? have u ever met him? do u know that he dropped out of the 8th grade when he was 16? does that tell u anything for the way he was raised? do u think that integrity is giving him enough money for his so called drifting habbits?
the kid is just an internet fantasy, he is nothing like the way he acts on here and when he had myspace, hell i remeber him saying he was going to write a book about this subject, i would love to read that lol, he only know what people have told him and he is just passing it along as heresay for the masses

ryan, a little over a year ago sumhow i talked to u on myspace through messaging, i had a picture of me doing a shuv on my cassette skate...u said i needed to trade in my cassette and get an integrity...im curious as to why you would say this and then come and post this saying support thomas when you told me to only support integrity

no need to get mean and start attacking each other personally. i don't think a revolution is a good idea. bottom line, it will divide the wakeskate population and slow the growth of the sport. whether u like it or not soy, suits have to get involved. its fact, they have the money and wakeskating requires money in order to grow. the people who know about wakeskating and can tell the difference between a quality wakeskate and a production line wakeskate will obviously make the right decision. u can't force people to make the right decision. let people support who they want and they will learn from their mistakes. the price of these "quality" wakeskates (i am not only refering to integrity) will scare most newbies in the sport away and in the direction of a cheaper and lesser quality wakeskate. people learn though. how many people on this site have come on looking for suggestions to replace their scape? probably hundreds. its because they went cheap first and then realized why the board they purchased was cheaper. the larger companys will remain on top for a long time because they have the money to market themselves better than ROCs. until these thinkers and artists have proven their products and have introduced their product to the masses for everyone to see why they deserve to be supported the big companys like hyperlite and liquid force will remain on top. i didn't want to get into this topic too much but its a forum and i wanted to voice my oppinion. kill me if u wish.
