i have an epic case and they would be rather easy to make. The only hard part about it would be the sliding mechanism that starts and stops recording. Epics are about the cheapest you can get (price wise) and you won't be disappointed, well except when you see and and realize you could have made it. It simply consists of 1 large plexi glass tube, a glass lens for the front, rectangle picece that holds the camera steady and pointing to the front, a way to start/stop recording/ and a rubber piece at the end to seal it up.

Wasn't there a topic on this before? I remember seeing someone's step-by-step instructional a while back but i'm not positive if it was these boards or not.

I thought so, I remember he had a really good solution to the button problem by using the spring mechanism from a soap dispenser.

looks cool, but I would NEVER put any expensive camera in there. The part where the pump goes through looks pretty shotty. If you made that kind of mechinism inside of the case and put a large, thick, rubber end cap and then use the screw clamps, it should work a little better. THe rubber would be tightly held on there creating the seal, while the middle would be able to be pressed in about an inch. That way there is no way for the water to get in. Also, I have found it nice to have a handle on the top and one on each side, preferabaly a tie down dtrap kind of material. Any shock absorber contraption you can think of for the actual case will make it that much better. We are actually going to try and make a cnc version of the epic samera case. OH!!! the other thing that sucks about that case is that IT IS NOT CLEAR. You might need to see when and what it is actually recording, thus one side should be semi clear so you can flip the view finder around.
