What's your technique? Sitting with the board up? Deep water? Like Nick Taylor does in the vid with him and canalskater? I tend to just sit with the board up...the cove I normally ride in has a lot of underwater fences and duck blinds for the winter when TVA drains the water that creep me out.

deep water it is much easier you just sit and wait with the board underneath you. no fooling with the board once the rope get's to you.

I stand ontop of the board and when the boat starts to go I angle the board up so it planes ontop of the water. It makes it much easier to get up, expecially considering the small surface area of a wakeskate.

IMO it's the only way to do it.

have any of you tried to get up with your back to the boat? You hold the handle behind your back at ankle level and hold on. its pretty fun.
