Who wants some? I want to see it. I saw the 540 shuv.... that was cool; but a 720 shuv it ...real big...and real fast would be nasty. I know its a long shot; somebody go after that joker.

i think its defintly possible ive stuck a few switch 540 bgispins off the kicker at ski rixen as soon as they stick it back in ill try a 720 bigspin becuase when i did the 540 ones i had more than enough air for another 180 so im going to give it a shot as soon as that thing goes back in the lake

guys, before this get way too out of hand..... stop hating.

i'm tired of everyone saying, "i wouldn't want to be the guy doing that"

i hear that shizzle on everything sick, double kickflips, 720 shuvits...

WHAT THE HELL PEOPLE? anyone who thinks insane tricks arnt cool shouldn't even ride, its called progression... its ok to do a 360 shuv but its not ok to do a 720 shuv? what about vert skating? do you think anyone said its ok to spin a 540 but i definatly wouldn't want to be the guy doing a 900 on vert? why, cause you'd get made fun of for being a badass?

i want to see a frontside w2w 5.

i want to see a flip on a skate.

i want to see a 720 shuv.

quit hating.

I think the point a few people are trying to make is just because something is done, doesn't mean it's going to look good (but apparently it's pretentious and "un fun" to care about style). Is adding a 180 always the best route to progress? It's obvious, but it may not always be "innovative."

Simply put, some people want to progress with style and creativity, some don't. To each his own, either way.

It's just a case of the mondays...

eatit: to end this on my behalf, I'll just say that it is important to test the boundaries (ex. 1080s in wakeboarding, or backflips on a skateboard) but they may not be the ultimate or most desired direction. This seems like a fine line, of course...

i dont think its a matter of "i woudltn want to be the guy pulling those" because of the trick looking bad... i woudltn want to be the guy bailing and having that thing come and smoke my shins or face while its spining uber fast...but yah progression needs to be there... and it needs to be fueled by style and technical aspects

wait, so you get made fun of or hated on because you do tricks no one else is doing? jealousy is a powerful thing. i can understand working on style before trying to go bigger, but IMO theres always room for people going huge in any sport. if someone starts doing sloppy 720 shuv its, then eventually someone will come and do clean 720s. if you can land clean 540 shuv its, why not try a 720?

i dont know, i guess i havent been around wakeskating long enough, but hating because people are doing tricks that havent been done before is, well, selfish. you want to sport to progress, but ONLY the way you want it to?

Wow... I hoped this thread would stay in January, where it belongs...

So because I don't think such a wild trick would look that great, that makes me a hater? Brilliant. Right on guys.
