what is easier to learn first?

Since I have my fs bigs down, i though i would work on this,

Wait a minute \\\\\\you can do a big but you can't do a shuv? Hmmm...somethin fishy here. Most people go for the bs first, it's a more natural movement. On the other hand, a fs shuv you get to watch the whole while b/c it is happening in front of ya. Good luck!

BS shuvs are easy since they're so skateboard related, but the first FS shuv i tried, i landed, and was extremely surprised how easy it was to kick around.

Those are sarcastic emoticons next to the fs bigs. I can't even dream of that trick.

I landed a fs shuv once but have not since then. Though I did not get to ride much last year. I really want to perfect it this year.

Thanks for the input, I will probably have a few more questions in the next few weeks.

Lipslide fronside 90 shuv out was the first trick I ever learned.

I think this one is the second time I ever landed a trick on a wakeskate

i wouldnt concentrate on one or the other, just keep practicing both, like bs one day and fs the next. i pretty much skipped fs shuvs when i started riding, and its the reason for my lack of a lot of lip tricks. lately ive been working on fs shuvs and a few other things i never really learned how to do, like reg. bs 180s and shizzle, and the first day i really started popping my fs shuvs like i wanted to i also learned how to do reg. fs bigs, , and it came much easier than i expected.

so i guess what im trying to say is dont skip the basics, any of them, they help sooooo much with learning new stuff later.

I prefer to soul ride instead of comp. Otherwise you would be in trouble!

i have only ever been able to land frontside shuvs and sum of my mates can only ever land backside shuvs and wen ever i try backside shuvs the board pops away from me and i dont even cum close is it heaps important to learn both ways
