Tis the season(pre-review and what not)

I've been venturing out to buy a new pair of shoes for the season and I couldn't deicde on the grey volaris or the reflex shoe by jet pilot.

I went with the reflex due to the dirtyness of the lake where I right at most often. I got a size 9 since my foot seems to be shrinking. I used to wear an 11 but I bought some nike's the other day and a 9 fit me the best which was crazy!

I'm looking forward to trying them out and was wondering if anybody else had them? I also bought a o'neill spring wetsuit(2mm) for $75 so I plan on trying both out this weekend and reporting back with a review for the shoes.

I'm also trying to win an auction on ebay for a pair of black kampus shoes. Hopefully I win because I've wanted a pair for a while.

On to other things... I'm stoked on winter ending so I can skate any day(especially on short work days). I plan on riding with a few people this year off the boards, most of the people in Texas around the Austin area and what not. I also plan on hitting up TSR for a few comps this year when they host them.

Another thing, I'm thinking VERY heavily about building a winch. A few key factors that are keeping me from doing it is being by myself in the project(money isn't the problem but getting help is). There aren't any wakeskaters that are in to wakeskating as myself. I think I've found a few guys that will ride anytime but no one that will put some blood and sweat into a winch. It sucks being by yourself, especially in something as great as wakeskating Crying or Very sad

I was thinking of driving down to BR, La and meeting up with Ryan L. and whoever else lives down there but it will be after I get consistent with a few things Cool

My current goal of tricks for this summer are:

backside shuv- laugh if you must, I start skating last year in June and didn't land a FS shuv until October. After I landed my first one I seemed to progress MUCH faster.

backside 180- got my frontsides down, just need to get them higher.

3 shuv

multiple shuvs and such off the lip. I don't know all the terms for them so I apoligize.

I HOPE to have a kickflip by October and will be trying very hard after I land a 3 shuv and get consistant with them.

Also, I'm building a slide this weekend. I have a double PVC pipe one from last year but I don't care for the wideness of it so I'm making a two-leg rail that should be about 14-16 inches wide with synthetic wood on top. Should have that done before April.

Well, I'm done with my rants, I never post anymore so I figured why not just post an entire thread.

u should give those shoes to me u already have some and caddying dosnt start til summer plus isnt the youth the future not people like u who already have a brand new pair of hsoes or a broke kid who spent his whole weekend with his buddies to earn 35 bucks to buy those on ebay Laughing

yabu, ive always found shoes to stretch when they get wet, so if anything i would go down a half size.
