grip or foam, 4 trac or the gate

posting just to see the majority vote on what u would pick maybe give your opiniom on things if u have the 4 trac or the gate tell me the ups n downs because these are the two boards i'm looking at buying next

i like the four trac alot. never ridden the gate. foam and grip is just whatever you like better, you gotta try it

I like foam and i like the the gate. But thats just my opinion.

i haven't ridden either of these boards, but i do like the feel of wood better than the mini wakeboards hyperlite have. I've tried them both but i just don't like the hl's as much. I also like griptape better

I have chosen the 03 42 4-trac but it suits my riding style a bit better.
Also remember that for 04 the 4-trac is available in 42' and 41'.

The best thing to do is go to your local board shop and demo both boards.
I'd also try either a byerly 107 and a Grubb, both I think are better than the gate. But then again I'm speaking from my riding style... yours may be different.

I've owned both and I sold the Gate and kept my 4 trac.
