ill have pics of our design up in a few. i hope to make this thread kind of a process thing, with pics of our process going up as they happen.

when we are done, anyone in NFL that wants to winch, or is willing to drive, just let us know

looks awesome man i am hopping on the bandwagon too and getting started on one. I just spent the afternoon drafting the frame in solidworks so i can work the kinks out. what are you using for an engine and for a rope source? mine design looks really similar, havent factored in the reciever hitch yet

woohoo!!! we actually put the first two pieces together today!
the clutch went on the motor, and we tested it, and it didn't fall apart.

talk about stoked Laughing

in other news, we did a service project today. we cleaned the lake where we are gonna do the testing and tweaking. shoveling muck and hacking at bushes (really trees that leaned over the lake) and picking up trash. jeff wants to go out and clean more tomorrow, but i want to take the ski out. he has to work at 1, so he doesn't want to go out, so we won't be going out. oh well.

we think we found someone to help us with the frame, as none of us has the tools or the skills to weld. hopefully we will have the frame done by the end of the week, but you never know. if its done, we could have the darn thing done by next week, but no gaurantees.
