yabu, buy a 06 liquid force impulse. or an oak. there really solid wood boards that are amazing.

if u want a wide board with a little weight to it check out some of the GB woodconcaves. on the otherhand if u want longevity out of a board go with a composite like an integrity. or for a little mix of the two maybe something like an LF impulse which is a wood board wrapped in the composite material. just a few other things to think about.

casper, where did your board break... i had a bilevel as well and the tail broke clean off and i never hit a rail with it... i completely agree with finding a good wood board... i have the 06 impulse and it pops almost as much as my old bi... i love it

you think the gator bilevel will have the same results like the cassette bilevel that it would break easily?

AndrewMasi1234, yes you are small and plus don't you ride an integrity? the difference between an integrity, pretty much the lightest board possible, and a bi-leveled wakeskate, is HUGE. of course it rode bad to you - you weren't used to it. same reason i can't ride integ, but it's opposite.

heavier board = increased control, predictability, and consistency. why do you think hyperlite made their boards heavier and i believe integ has plans to do the same (like with NT's pro model)

Don't go saying the deuce pop is going to break, there have been no reports as far as i know that the board has been breaking.

I tryed a kickflip and the board goes up side down in the water....
it was a clean break that looked like I sawed it....
right after the connection-point between the boards....

by the way how are the 06 LF boards?
a friend of mine rides for them and last saison he had -i don t know- about 10 boards `cause the broke so fast....

if you are not sure which board to buy try some boards of your friends....
I would say a heavier board rotates and flips more controled as a lighter one....
if you ride cable try to get a board with not too much buoyancy....
with less buoyancy it is easier to press the board in the water to get more pop....

This board has so much pop, it takes a little geting used to but overall it pretty nice except it delamed and one of my screws came out after using it for 3 days, but performance just gave me a new one. It has so much pop off the lip. You barely have to flick it for K-Flips and 3-Shuvs are so easy. Its a nice board and has a nice feel to it.

yabu, be aware of the warranties, shipments outside the US etc. I broke two Bi-levels last year and had problems with shipment costs etc when claiming warranty... Bi-level is a great board but the durability sucks. Integrity is well known for it's durability. Also take a look on LF's Armada or HL Byerly which seems to last long even after riding on rails etc. Wood feels soooo good but it usually soaks up water after a few rides, especially after riding on rails. The main reason Grubb changed his deck a couple of years ago (from wood to composite) was for that reason. I'm switching to composite this year after riding wooden skates since year 2000, I'm getting so tired on re-sealing them time after time.......

i think its highly unlikely that the deuce pop would break like a cassette bi but with that increased durability you lose the flex from the top deck that you get from the cassette. they are completely different boards that are completely different so dont buy one thinking you are getting a bi-level because you will be dissapointed, you have to be open minded or you will hate it.

Rob, I know what you are trying to say. I wanted to get a wood skate too but it won't last long and its hard to get a new stick right away since we live in a country where boards are limited. I got the 05 HL Byerly and it rides well too but i wanted to get a board that looks and feels like a true skate with grip tape rather than eva foam. So now I'm going with the integ! Smile
